ForeverCasuals Sync — desktop companion
=======================================

OPTIONAL. You do NOT need this program. The mod's "Send to website" and
"Get website updates" buttons move everything by copy & paste, and you can read
every line before it goes anywhere (guild site → Game ⇄ Website page).

This companion just automates that copy & paste for an officer who'd rather not:
after each /reload it uploads what the mod saved and brings fresh website data
back. If you use it, only ONE officer needs it.

1. Install Python 3 (free): https://www.python.org/downloads/
Windows: tick "Add python.exe to PATH" in the installer.

2. Install the mod: unzip ForeverCasualsSync into your World of Warcraft: Forever
folder → Interface\AddOns (the Forever install, not Classic or retail).

3. Get your guild's API key: on your guild site go to
Officer Desk → Sync & Mod and copy the key.

4. Double-click fc_sync.py (or run: python fc_sync.py ).
The first time it asks for your site, the key, and your WoW folder.
Leave the window open while you play.

In game
-------
Click the scroll button on your minimap (or type /fc). The Officer tab
lists every sync step with buttons. The commands below still work:
/fc scan read guild events + sign-ups from the in-game calendar
/fc push add the next website event or approved Party Planner group
                to the in-game guild calendar
/fc attend snapshot who's in your raid/group for GPP
  /fc thanks "I was helped by…" — thank a guildie (Helping Hands)
/reload hands everything to the companion; it uploads within seconds
and writes fresh website data back. /reload again to see it.

What it touches
---------------
  reads WTF\Account\<ACCOUNT>\SavedVariables\ForeverCasualsSync.lua
  writes Interface\AddOns\ForeverCasualsSync\Inbox.lua
talks only to your ForeverCasuals site, with your guild's key

Settings live in fc_sync_config.json next to this file — keep it private.
Run python fc_sync.py --setup to change them, --once to sync one time.
